Two Freedom 9U Pitchers Combine To Defeat Carolina Copperheads Baseball 9U In Shutout Game

Carolina Freedom 9U defeated Carolina Copperheads Baseball 9U 28-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Braxton E struck out Cameron K to finish off the game.

Jackson A led Carolina Freedom 9U to victory by driving in five runs. He went 3-for-4 at the plate. Jackson drove in runs on a single in the first, a single in the first, a double in the second, and a fielder's choice in the third.

One bright spot for Carolina Copperheads Baseball 9U was a single by Cole M in the first inning.

Colin M was on the mound for Carolina Freedom 9U. He went two innings, allowing zero runs on three hits, striking out four and walking one.

Carolina Freedom 9U racked up 22 hits. Braxton, Wyatt M, Jackson, Caleb T, Colton S, Eli J, and Parker G all managed multiple hits for Carolina Freedom 9U. Braxton led Carolina Freedom 9U with four hits in four at bats. Carolina Freedom 9U didn't commit a single error in the field. Parker had the most chances in the field with five. Carolina Freedom 9U stole 13 bases during the game as four players stole more than one. Jackson led the way with four.
