Two Pitchers Team Up As CF 9U Defeats NSA Select 9U In Shut-Out

Carolina Freedom 9U defeated NSA Select 9U 4-0 on Saturday as two pitchers combined to throw a shutout. Caleb T struck out Wiedell to finish off the game.

Carolina Freedom 9U got on the board in the first inning when Wyatt M lined out, driving in a run.

Carolina Freedom 9U notched three runs in the fourth inning. Eli J and Caleb all contributed in the big inning with RBIs.

One bright spot for NSA Select 9U was a single by Brooks in the first inning.

Jackson A was on the hill for Carolina Freedom 9U. He lasted three innings, allowing two hits and zero runs while striking out seven and walking one.

Oxondine was on the mound for NSA Select 9U. He allowed three hits and one run over three innings, striking out five. Kinlaw threw one inning in relief out of the bullpen.

Caleb led Carolina Freedom 9U with two hits in two at bats. Carolina Freedom 9U tore up the base paths, as four players stole at least two bases. Braxton E led the way with four. Carolina Freedom 9U was sure-handed in the field and didn't commit a single error. Parker G had the most chances in the field with eight.

NSA Select 9U didn't commit a single error in the field. Freeman had the most chances in the field with seven.
